Do you have toothache, swelling, a damaged tooth or a lost filling? Call 031-47 95 25, Monday to Friday 08:00–16:00, so we can assess the situation and try to find an emergency appointment.
Call reception first
Tell us where it hurts, when the problem began and whether you have swelling, fever or an injury. This helps us assess urgency and prepare for your visit.
Problems we assess urgently
Contact us for severe or persistent toothache, swelling, a cracked or knocked-out tooth, a loose crown or filling that is causing problems, or an injury to the mouth.
At the emergency visit
We assess the cause and prioritise relieving pain and stopping an acute problem. If further treatment is needed, you receive a plan and cost information.
When other urgent help is needed
Seek urgent medical care for rapidly increasing swelling, fever, difficulty breathing or swallowing, or another life-threatening condition. Call 112 if life is at risk.
Frequently asked questions
Can I get an emergency appointment the same day?
Availability varies. Call as early as possible and we will try to offer the earliest medically and practically suitable appointment.
Do you accept new emergency patients?
Yes. New and existing patients can call reception for an initial assessment.
What should I do if a permanent tooth is knocked out?
Contact a dental clinic immediately. Hold the tooth by the crown, not the root, and keep it moist in milk or saline if it cannot be put back. Never replace a knocked-out baby tooth.
What should I do when the clinic is closed?
Call 1177 for healthcare advice and information about where to seek help. Call 112 for a life-threatening emergency.
What does an emergency visit cost?
The clinic’s current example price for an emergency visit is SEK 1,500. The final cost depends on the examinations and treatment needed, and you receive cost information at the visit.
