Do you accept patients who need emergency dental care in Västra Frölunda?

Accepted Answer

Yes. New and existing patients can call reception on 031-47 95 25. Tell us what has happened and we will make an initial assessment and try to find an emergency appointment as soon as possible.

Are you connected to Försäkringskassan?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The general dental care allowance and high-cost protection are applied under the current Swedish rules.

What does the new dental-care protection mean if I am 67 or older?

Accepted Answer

From the year you turn 67, special dental-care compensation may mean that you pay 10 percent of the reference price, or the clinic’s price if it is lower, for certain treatments. Examinations, X-rays and preventive care are not covered by that specific compensation. We explain what applies to your treatment.

We offer general dentistry, dental hygiene, implants, orthodontics, cosmetic and restorative dentistry, plus treatment for periodontal disease and jaw concerns.

When should I seek emergency dental care?

Accepted Answer

Call for severe or persistent toothache, swelling, a cracked or knocked-out tooth, a lost filling that is causing problems, or an injury to the mouth. Seek urgent medical help for rapidly increasing swelling, fever, difficulty breathing or swallowing, or another life-threatening condition, and call 112 if life is at risk.
