1. Scope
These terms apply to use of the website, online-booking links and callback requests. They supplement, but do not replace, information and agreements you receive before dental treatment. Swedish mandatory patient and consumer rights always apply.
2. Website information is not a diagnosis
Treatment descriptions, FAQs and prices provide general information and are not individual medical advice, a diagnosis or a promise of a specific result. A dentist must examine your needs before recommending treatment.
3. Booking and confirmation
Online booking is provided through an external service. An appointment is confirmed only when the booking service or clinic has issued a confirmation. Check that your details and selected appointment are correct. BankID may be used for secure identification; never share your security code.
A callback request is not an appointment. Do not use it for urgent care or include sensitive health information.
4. Prices and treatment decisions
Website prices are current examples in Swedish kronor and may change. Final cost depends on examination findings, treatment scope, materials and applicable dental-care support. You receive information about material treatment options and cost before treatment begins. For larger care plans, ask for a written treatment and cost proposal.
5. Rescheduling and cancellation
Contact reception as early as possible if you need to change or cancel an appointment. Any notice period or charge applies only if it has been clearly communicated in the booking confirmation or the clinic’s then-current terms. Contact the clinic if illness or exceptional circumstances prevent attendance.
6. Urgent problems
The website and callback function are not monitored emergency services. Call the clinic for urgent dental problems. For severe swelling, fever with spreading infection, difficulty breathing or swallowing, major trauma or another life-threatening condition, call 112 or seek urgent medical/dental advice through 1177.
7. External services
Booking, BankID, maps, YouTube and social-media services have separate availability, privacy notices and terms. Frölundatandläkarna AB is responsible for its own processing and care, but not for interruptions or content controlled solely by those providers.
8. Questions and complaints
Contact the clinic first if you are dissatisfied so the matter can be investigated. Depending on the issue, a patient may also be able to contact Privattandläkarna’s confidence board where its conditions are met, the relevant insurance provider, IMY for personal-data matters or IVO for complaints within its supervisory remit.
9. Swedish law
Swedish law applies. Mandatory patient and consumer protection is not limited by these terms. Disputes may be considered by the competent complaints body or Swedish court.
